The Jewel Food Stores chain is of historical significance to Australia's retail history. There's very little reference material on the internet because the stores were sold in 1998. I was able to gather some data from a number of sources, which I think we will be helpful as reference material.

It is now defunct, so it can't be blatant advertising for a company, product, group. J Bar 02:41, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Shouldn't the logo be mentioned in this article? It was JEWEL in 5 black and white diamond shapes.
