Jewish Mosaic

Jewish Mosaic: The National Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity's mission is to help the Jewish world become open, accessible, and welcoming to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) Jews and their families. Jewish Mosaic accomplishes this through visibility, advocacy, education and research. Jewish Mosaic offers creative and incisive “queer” takes on the weekly Torah portion (parashah) or Jewish holiday, written by Jewish scholars, rabbis, activists and lay leaders. [1]
Jewish Mosaic was included in the 2005, 2006 and 2007 editions of “Slingshot,” a guide to 50 “of the most creative and effective Jewish organizations” in America. Slingshot was compiled by 21/64, a division of the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies. [2]
