Jew Don Boney

The Rev. Jew Don Boney, Jr. was a member of the Houston, Texas, City Council from 1995 until 2001, representing the historically African-American District D. In addition, Rev. Boney served as Mayor pro tem of Houston from 1998 to 2001.

Boney is the son of late Houston educator Dr. J. Don Boney.

Today, he is a motivational speaker and civil-rights activist, who raises charity money for the continent of Africa.
