A petition on the Number 10 website with more than 200 signatures will receive a response from the British government. This is therefore noteworthy. 172.206.178.101 (talk) 22:23, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

No it isn't. Anybody can start a petition about virtually anything on the No. 10 website, and there are probably enough people willing to sign anything to ensure 200 signatures. In truth, this was a vanity edit made by the person who started the petition and probably designed to draw attention to it - so in breach of WP: COI. I am going to revert the edit again. If you are unhappy with this, you are welcome to ask for the intervention of a third party, but don't revert it yourself. Egdirf (talk) 09:43, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
