Jet-Yi is a start-up airline based in the People's Republic of China. It plans to operate domestic passenger services. It was established in March 2006 by a group of local investors and Waverley Capital, a United States investment company.[1]

Jet Yi will be the first foreign invested joint venture airline in China with a low-cost strategy and funding from one of the world’s largest investment banks. It will also have an affiliated business in leasing foreign pilots to the Chinese aviation market.[2]
