[edit] Welcome!

Hello, Jesusfreek2, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  - UtherSRG (talk) 15:15, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your question

Can be answered by looking at Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Please don't ask others to do your homework for you. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:17, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

I'm not interested in debating you. If your mom doesn't want you using Wikipedia, then you will have to go someplace else to find your information. Doing your own work is part off growing up; don't expect others to do work for you. - UtherSRG (talk) 15:28, 5 October 2006 (UTC)

This sort of thing isn't really appropriate for the main article space. Stuff like that would be better confined to your user page. You can get in trouble for making vanity pages in the main space, so be careful. Thanks, --Mr. Lefty (talk) 03:22, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edit

Your efforts in improving Wikipedia are appreciated. However, talk pages are only for discussion about the main article, not for general chat. Please do not use talk pages for general discussion, as you did on the Talk:RuneScape page. Thank you.

[edit] Response

Finally!!! I got around to fixing up your status switcher. First, you must affix {{User:Jesusfreek2/Status}} to all of the desired locations. Then, go to User:Ed/monobook.js, and copy/paste the contents to User:Jesusfreek2/monobook.js.--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 02:31, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
(HINT): You need to click on the 3 new links above your page. If you're in, click in, and so on.--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 23:39, 24 October 2006 (UTC)
Do you have 3 new links that you never had before on top of your page? They should say "in", "busy", and "out". --EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 03:02, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
I just substituted the busy parameter with around--Ed ¿Cómo estás? 22:20, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

The link in the signature could be incorrect, might be a good idea to check it links to User:Jesusfreek2. jd || talk || 17:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Siggy

All you do is follow this link, and in the "Signature" box, type what you want to appear when you sign with ~~~~. If you want to use fancy HTML (which is how you get colors, different fonts, etc.), be sure to check the "raw signature" box. Then, just save your preferences. Come back if you need anything else. --Mr. Lefty (talk) 21:59, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] WikiProject Contemporary Christian music

I noticed that you are a big fan of the exploding band Skillet. I crank up their 2 current songs too! We have formed a Wikiproject for people who want to do organizaed contributions to CCM called Wikipedia:WikiProject Contemporary Christian music. I invite you to come take a look and consider joining. Cheers! Royalbroil T : C 14:01, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your user name

Hi. You may not be aware of it, but Wikipedia's policy on inappropriate usernames - Wikipedia:Username#Inappropriate_usernames - forbids names that include religious figures. Normally, these names are blocked on sight. Please see the boilerplate message below, which includes instructions on how to request a name change. Thanks. --BigDT 01:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Actually it says "Usernames partly comprised of these terms are not necessarily prohibited but may be subject to review". Thus they should not be blocked on sight, instead it should be reviewed which it is good to see is what is being currently done. Mathmo Talk 03:48, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello Jesusfreek2, unfortunately the username you have picked is inappropriate. Please consider changing it. You can do this by following the instructions at the Changing username page or by just creating a new account. Note that changing your username will allow you to keep your current edits credited to you. If you do not change your username, a Wikipedia administrator may block this account. If you feel this message is a mistake and your username does not violate the rule, please feel free to leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. --BigDT 01:20, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
