[edit] American Constitution Society
Back in October you added a large list of speakers to the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy article. Would you be willing to provide a source or explain the relationship between speakers and the society? After seeing people like Bob Barr there, it doesn't look like these are people who are necessarily ACS members or supporters. Thanks. --Ajdz 19:54, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
Here is a link to what I believe was my source for the list of speakers. Bob Barr is on there somewhere. [1]. I clarified the relationship between the speakers and the org. in the ACS entry. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Jessesamuel
[edit] Cairo University alumni
Awesome work! I really appreciate the time you spent into putting such an exhaustive list together. As I said, there is much to learn from it. Thanks! — Zerida 01:54, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Masri
Hi! I created Masri (disambiguation) to accommodate the articles on the two persons with that title. This helps avoid unnecessary clutter at Egyptian Arabic. Also, since you're working on the article of the suspected Qaeda militant, you may be interested in the latest update on his whereabouts [2]. — [zɪʔɾɪdəʰ] · t 19:12, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Left-libertarianism
Hi Jessesamuel. My political views are best described as libertarian socialist. The connection between this "libertarianism" --of Godwin, Bakunin, and Kropotkin-- and the "left-libertarianism" of Steiner, Vallentyne and Otsuka is largely nominal. Sir Paul 21:50, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
- Apologies for the long delay. I'm afraid that, for the foreseeable future, I won't be able to engage in discussions about left-libertarianism. My spare time is quite limited, and already taken up by various other projects and commitments. Ars longa, vita brevis. Sir Paul 06:10, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Talk:Boston Tea Party
Howdy, I noticed that you and I seem to post in one or two articles dealing with progressive issues in political science/sociology. There's currently a debate beginning in Boston Tea Party as to whether the article should include the category [3]. It meets definitions set in the articles Terrorism and Definition of terrorism, however, there are several self-proclaimed patriots who watch BTP who refuse to recognise the fact. The simple criteria for terrorism generally seem to be intimidation or destruction of property in order to change public policy or public opinion while a state of war has not yet been declared. Some users would rather use recent acts of terrorism as a yardstick, rather than using a firm definition, and hence lose their ability to discuss matters calmly. Would you be able to pop in to the Talk page and join in the discussion? Thanks much, samwaltz 05:19, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] deletion of all references or links to MySpace
The same thing happened to Rachael Sage, a notable Indy musician and poet. I have now for the 2nd time attempted to discuss it with ST47. I have also started a discussion of this particular topic here which I hope you will read and contribute to. CyntWorkStuff 02:15, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
