[edit] Netfirms

Hi, Jess.

Thanks for contacting me.

Yes, the article looks a lot less spammy now. I'm going to remove the warning templates.

I'd also like to see the history section removed in its current format (a list), as it still reads like marketing (press releases and hosting plans are neither notable, encyclopedic, nor historic), though it could work well if its contents were integrated as a prose section. I've snipped some of the entries. I'll leave the rest for now, though, in case you're inclined to have at it yourself.

[edit] Deleted Article

{{helpme}} The article I posted about Netfirms was deleted on December 29th. Is there any way I can have it restored? I would like to add some sources to make it more notable.

You could try asking an admin. DGG seems amenable to helping out with deleted pages. But be honest the nature of its deletion (that it went to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Netfirms). --Popplewick (talk) 21:47, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
I restored it to User:Jess Taylor/Netfirms for temporary use when improving the article. Find one or two more good refs, and ask at deletion review. Incidentally, I do not necessarily think it was a good close--the Businessweek was more than trivial mention, though the NYT is trivial--but you are right that it will be best to find something additional.DGG (talk) 20:27, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
