Roechoudt is part of a very small group of professional female skaters. As a child, she was on her school's volleyball team, but was inspired to being skating when she was other skateboarders at school.[1] She started with a plastic banana board at the age of 14, and bought a commercial board 2 years later. [2]
Her sponsors include Billabong, FTC Boards, and Genetic Shoes[3] as well as Bones Wheels, Venture Trucks, Von Zipper Sunglasses, and Dakine.[4]
