Jessica Sara (born 7 April 1992) is an American actress who has guested on various television series, and had roles in some movies. Her three appearances as Melissa in My Wife and Kids was nominated for a 2002 Young Artist Award, "Best Young Actress Guest Star (Ten or Under) - Television Comedy or Drama Series".

Having seen Broadway shows since age two, she decided she wanted to pursue acting at three. Sara's career began in 1996 at age four, appearing various commercials, and in an episode of Sesame Street where Telly builds a tower of blocks with two monster girls. In 1997, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother, Chellie. The next year, she appeared in Party of Five, and by 1999 in ER. After appearances in The Next Best Thing, Geppetto, and The Amati Girls, Jessica appeared as Sophie in the film adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

She continued with guest appearances in The Drew Carey Show and Touched by an Angel, before co-starring in Always Greener with Dom Deluise, and as lead actor Matt Keeslar's daughter in Thank Heaven. Sara has continued to make guest appearances on series, including Becker, Unfabulous, and Just for Kicks, as well as a role in Winter Break.

Sara is Austrian/Hungarian/Russian/Polish on her mother's side, Scottish/English on her father's side.[citation needed]
