Jessica "Jessie" Madison Jacobs (November 14, 1990May 10, 2008) was an Australian actress and singer, best known for her many roles in children's television series in Australia, such as The Saddle Club, Fergus McPhail and Holly's Heroes. Jacobs was also in stage productions, including being alongside Lisa McCune and Bert Newton in The Sound of Music. In the months before her death, Jacobs had taken a break from acting to focus on school and playing bass in a band called The Volten Sins.

Jacobs died on 10 May 2008, after slipping off the platform at Cheltenham railway station and falling onto the tracks and into the path of an oncoming train. She was meeting her mother so they could buy a present for her brother, Adam, for his birthday.[1]

Jacobs attended Sandringham College and was 6 months away from finishing her VCE. In 2009, Jacobs, was planning to attend the Victorian College of the Arts to study bass guitar and establish herself as a musician.
