Jessica Hester Hsuan (Chinese: 宣萱 [IPA: syn hyn]) or Suen Huen (born August 18, 1970 in Hong Kong) is a Chinese actress. Jessica holds a degree from Imperial College London.
She is currently one of the most popular television actresses of Hong Kong. She started her career in late 1992 and early 1993. Back in the 90's, Jessica was constantly in the limelight for not getting along with a few actresses, though most of the rumours had subsided by the 2000s.
Jessica changed her contract to a "per-series" as of late 2006, after it was disclosed that she did not renew her current contract. She was no longer under TVB management, and will be under her former manager, Carri Ma.
After The Drive of Life airs, Jessica plans to shoot a sitcom series "Parental Guidance Season 2" with Adrian Pang. In Mid-December, Jessica will come back to Hong Kong. In April, Jessica will return to TVB series to film "Just Love 2" with her male co-star Sunny Chan
Jessica has won 4 Big Awards in only 1 month : TVB Awards 2007 (Best Promotional Clip - The Drive Of Life)), Ming Pao Awards 2007 (Best Actress - Dicey Business) and 12th Asian Television Awards 2007 (Best Comedy Programme - Parental Guidance Runner Up, Best Comedy Performance by an Actress - Parental Guidance - Runner Up ), I Weekly Magazine Awards ( Top 10 Artists - Ranked #1, Top 3 Series - The Drive Of Life and Dicy Business - Ranked # 2 and 3)
