Jessica Chapnik is an Australian actress and musician. She played Sam Tolhurst on Home and Away, an Australian weeknightly half-hour television drama. She joined the series in 2006 and her character ended on the show in 2008. Jessica is from Argentina, and migrated to Australia when she was 5 years old. Based in Sydney, she trained for two years in New York at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School, founded by playwright David Mamet. In 2005, Jessica spent the year touring nationally and internationally with ARIA-award winning singer Sarah Blasko, playing in her band. She was also in the band Old Man River over a few years, touring Australia. She provided vocals on the yet-to-be-released soundtrack to Nash Edgerton's film The Square with songs written and produced by Ben Lee. She also provided guest vocals for the record Love Melts Fear by the band Kahn Brothers.
