Jesse James (born September 14, 1989) is an American actor.

James was born in Palm Springs, California, the son of Jaime, a laboratory technician, and Shane James, an actor.[1]

He began his acting career at a young age in the 1997 film As Good as It Gets as Spencer Connelly, a role for which he won an award. His acting career continued, with several smaller movies until his role in the 2001 Johnny Depp film Blow, as the child version of Depp's character. Pearl Harbor followed, in which he played the young Ben Affleck's character, and a few years later, he achieved some underground critical acclaim for his performance in the 2004 film The Butterfly Effect as the young Tommy Miller. He also acted in The Amityville Horror alongside Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George. His latest project is the movie The Flyboys which was released early in 2008. He also starred in an episode of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spin-off series Angel called, "I've Got You Under My Skin", where he was credited as a special guest star.

May 27, 2008, Jesse starred in short film Manifest Destiny [2] along with co-star and producer Sean Faris.
