Jesús Graña was a Mexican radio personality commonly known as "El Hombre Feliz". He also appeared in several movies in the 1930s, 1940s and early 1950s. He and his wife, Juana, had four daughters: Pilar, Carmen, Conchita, and Margarita.
Although a comedian, off stage he was often unkind to his family, perhaps in an attempt to toughen them up.
