Jesús Alberto Dátolo (born May 19, 1984 in Carlos Spegazzini in the Ezeiza Partido of Buenos Aires Province) is an Argentine professional football player. He currently plays for Argentine giant Boca Juniors.
He started his career at Cañuelas FC in the Argentine 4th Division in 2000.
In 2002 he was signed by Banfield of the Primera Division Argentina and he broke into the first squad in 2005 and 2006, scoring seven goals. In mid-2006, Boca Juniors bought 50% of his pass and 100% of the sports rights.
He has been playing as a starter since the Apertura 2007 tournament, where his performance has become increasingly better. He plays offensive midfielder on the left side, taking advantage of his great speed and exquisite left foot.
