[edit] Edit Summary Request
I have noted that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky or even vandalizing. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! -- Kukini 17:54, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- I usually only do that on format/style edits. But your guidance is good, and I'll try to do better with that. Thanks. Jerseypolitics 21:16, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template
I noticed you were adding the {{sep11}} template to some articles. I'm not sure this particular template is suitable, as it causes a great deal of vertical scrolling. Possibly, we could design an alternative one that would work better. Maybe, one that goes at the bottom? For example, like the ones at the bottom of New York City? The one on the September 11, 2001 attacks article was designed quite a while ago, and maybe isn't ideal anymore. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks. --Aude (talk contribs) 19:51, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- A new template related to the 9/11 investigation and aftermath would probably be a good idea. Jerseypolitics 21:17, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
