Seems like POV to me, maybe someone should consider reviewing the whole tone of the article. It appears rather un-encyclopedic and more like something you'd read in a football magazine. TN2006 21:43, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Actually I agree with you, it is very POV. I certainly don't think many would say he has 'thrived at Spurs' for example. Bababoum 09:20, 8 January 2007 (UTC)

"Contrary to most commentators' beliefs, Jermaine's surname is correctly pronounced with the 'e' like the sound for a lower case 'e', and not a capital 'E'." - even as a native English speaker I can't understand how a lower case 'e' and a capital 'E' are meant to be pronounced differently - can someone enlighten me.....? What? Why on earth has this been added to trivia? There was a whole "thing" about the way his name should be pronounced around 2002-3 when he started to get famous in the footballing world. People instictively would call him "Jenas" (prounounced like "jennifer") .... but JJ then went on record several times (in interviews and in magazines) stating that the correct pronounciation is "Jeenas". Because the family name used to be spelled G-E-N-A-S and was changed by Jermaine's father, but the pronounciation remained. Plus commentators in England seek out by asking the players themselves the proper way to pronounce surnames.

So I will delete that line of trivia because it indicates the absolute opposite from the truth, weird. someuser 03:24, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
