[edit] Bipedal?

If the forelegs are not used for locomotion, does that make jerboas bipedal creatures? If not, why not? Kilyle 09:03, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Yes, they are bipedal. --Aranae 22:49, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] hibernation/migration

Do jerboas hibernate or migrate. If so, why?? I'm just curious. I am sure Wikipedia says but I can't seem to find it

[edit] Endangered species list as Vulnerable (VU).

If the Jerboa is on the endangered species list as Vulnerable, what does that mean to owners? Why would a pet store quit selling them? Why would they give them away? Are we allowed to have them as pets? Nvrswbutterfly 12:24, 4 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Jumping mice subspp

I'm not convinced the jerboa page is the place to have a comprehensive listing of all the subspecies of jumping mice. --Aranae 05:08, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

True, but they're available when the jumping mice actually get pages. Soon, I hope.TeamZissou 20:29, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Let me get some Zapus pages together--alternatively, we could move the subspp to the Zapus page for the time being if it appears too cluttered here?TeamZissou 20:39, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
At the time I wrote it I was voting for them to be moved to jumping mouse, but now that you have created itZapus (or a species page) is the right location. --Aranae 23:04, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
There, I moved them. It looks better--you were right. TeamZissou 01:54, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Size?

Some form of size or weight reference would be handy. 69.81.191.161 18:35, 7 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dipodidae

Dipodidae redirects here, but, the main article text discusses only jerboas, not jumping mice or birchmice. I have therefore created a new page to discuss the family as a whole, and reduced the species list provided here to include only those species referred to in the text above it. Anaxial 08:32, 2 December 2007 (UTC)

Correct move. It's been needing it for a long time. --Aranae 03:41, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Video Link

Video at the bottom of this page is a broken link. anyone have new ones? Meta-Physician (talk) 02:57, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

How about this one? Also take a peek here. --Ouro (blah blah) 07:09, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
