Jerzy Świrski

Jerzy Świrski (5 April 1882, Kalisz — 12 June 1959, London) was a Polish vice admiral and officer in the Russian Navy and Polish Navy.
He served in the Black Sea Fleet until the end of the World War I. In 1918 he joined the Polish Navy. From 1925 to 1947 he was Director of Polish Navy in the Polish Ministry of Military Affairs (after 1939, in the Polish Government in Exile). After the World War II he remained in United Kingdom.
