Jersey Squires

The Jersey Squires were an American Basketball Association team that played in 2003-2004 with the Kansas City Knights, Long Beach Jam, Las Vegas Rattlers, Tijuana Diablos, Juarez Gallos de Pelea and the Fresno Heatwave. They first played at the Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. They were planning to move to the Asbury Park Convention Hall, but after playing one home game there with no heat, they decided to move to Philadelphia. After playing at a couple venues in Philadelphia and changing their names to the Philadelphia Colonials and the Philadelphia Fusion, the team folded the next year.
