Jerry Ippoliti was the 13th head college football coach for the Northern Illinois University Huskies located in DeKalb, Illinois and he held that position for five seasons, from 1971 until 1975. His career coaching record at Northern Illinois was 25 wins, 29 losses, and 1 ties. This ranks him sixth at Northern Illinois in total wins and tenth at Northern Illinois in winning percentage.[1]
Ippoliti also served as commissioner of the Mid-American Conference from 1994–1999.
