Jerry Heidenreich (born February 4, 1950 in Texas) is an American swimmer and olympic champion. He competed at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, where he received a gold medal in 4 × 100 m medley relay, and a gold medal in 4 × 100 m freestyle relay. [1] He received a silver medal in 100 m freestyle, and a bronze medal in 100 m butterfly.

He set six world records during his swimming career, all as a relay team member.

Heidenreich was inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1992.[2][3]
