Jerry Hahn

Jerry Hahn (b. September 21, 1940, Alma, Nebraska) is an American jazz guitarist.
Hahn studied at Wichita State University, then moved to San Francisco in 1962, where he played with John Handy (1964-66). He toured with The Fifth Dimension in 1968 and worked with Gary Burton in 1968-69. In addition to leading his own album in 1967, he led an ensemble, the Jerry Hahn Brotherhood, early in the 1970s. Later in the decade he became a teacher at Wichita State University, and did less active performing until 1986, when he moved to Portland, Oregon. There he played locally full-time, and after moving to Colorado in 1993, he began recording again under his own name.
