Jerry Dexter

Jerry Dexter is a voice actor best known for voicing heroic young men in Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the 1960s to the 1980s. Among his roles were Gary Gulliver in "The Adventures Of Gulliver," Chuck in Shazzan, Alan in Josie and the Pussycats, Ted in Goober and the Ghost Chasers, Biff in Fangface and Drak in Drak Pack. He also voiced characters for Filmation Studios during the late 1960s, most notably as the voice of Aqualad in the series Aquaman (1967). In 1968, he hosted his own morning talk/public affairs series, "The Jerry Dexter Show" on KABC in Los Angeles. Onscreen roles included two appearances on the series "Dragnet."
