Jerry Bonkowski is an American writer who has for 20 years covered NASCAR and various sports. He has written about the NFL, Major League Baseball, the NBA, the NHL and college sports. He has been a sports journalist for nearly 35 years. He has worked at USA Today and ESPN.com. He has a master's degree in sports administration/communications from Ohio University and a bachelor's degree in journalism/broadcast communications from Columbia College Chicago[1]
Jerry currently is a NASCAR Columnist for Yahoo! Sports[2] and hosts the NASCAR talk show on Sirius Satellite Radio, "The Backstretch".[3]
