Jeron Harvey (born on June 25, 1984 in Jacksonville, Florida) is an American football wide receiver with the Jacksonville Jaguars in the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Houston with Kevin Kolb and Donnie Avery. He is a big player for his position of wide receiver. He graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida. He is former high school teammates with New York Jets running back Leon Washington and Ole Miss wide receiver Michael Hicks. He signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars on April 27, 2008.Jeron has always been a big fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars ever since he heard his city was getting an NFL franchise. Though he was not given a scholarship to play Division I football he went to Dodge City Community College in Dodge City, Kansas. While starring their he recorded 52 receptions and 14 touchdowns in one year. He wears number 19, formerly worn by Ernest Wilford. Jeron, Rashean Mathis, and Jamaal Fudge are the three players currently playing for the Jaguars who graduated from Jacksonville high schools. Rashean going to Englewood High School and Jamaal going to Ed White High School.
