Jeroen Riemsdijk is a Dutch pianist born in 1962 in Amersfoort. Riemsdijk is author of the piano method ‘The Golden Fingers Technique. The art of passagework for pianists’, based on the approach of Dutch pianist and pedagogue Cornelius Berkhout. Berkhout was professor at the Amsterdam Conservatory (1942-1958) and author of De kunst van het Pianospelen (The art of playing the piano).
A laureate of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and the Start '86 Competition, Jeroen Riemsdijk is performing regularly as a soloist and chamber musician, performing with many prominent musicians. He has given first performances of works by Dutch composers such as Wim Zwaag, Rob Quodbach and Ivo van Emmerik. Riemsdijk is member of the Zhislin Piano Quartet. He is currently teaching at the Maastricht Conservatoire.
