Jermaine Crawford

Jermaine Crawford (born in 1992) is an American actor best known for appearing on the HBO original series The Wire as Duquan "Dukie" Weems.
Crawford started performing at the age of three. His experience includes various professional projects. He's had prominent roles in the theatrical productions of Children of Eden at the Ford Theatre directed by David Bell; Carousel and The Miracle Worker at the Olney Theatre, as directed by Bill Pasquanti; and, A Midsummer's Night Dream at the historic Shakespeare Theatre in Washington, DC, as directed by Mark Lamos. Jermaine was a youth spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association. He has won many singing competitions throughout Maryland and Washington, DC.
Recently, Jermaine attended Ernest Everett Just Middle School in Mitchellville, Maryland.
