Jeremy Gelbwaks (born May 22, 1961 in Los Angeles, California) was a child actor who starred in the television series The Partridge Family from 1970-1971.
Gelbwaks was the first actor to play the role of Chris Partridge. He left the program (and the business) after the first season, and was replaced by Brian Forster in the summer of 1971.
Gelbwaks worked in the computer industry from 1982-1999, studied business at Columbia University, and is now a management consultant. He has appeared in a couple of "Partridge Family" reunions with his TV family, including "Chris #2".
By coincidence, he lived in New Orleans for many years - also the home of Susan Cowsill, the youngest member of The Cowsills, the real-life family band which inspired The Partridge Family.
