Jeremy Furstenfeld

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jeremy Daniel Furstenfeld (born October 8, 1974 in Houston, Texas) is a member of the alternative rock band, Blue October. He is the drummer/percussion player of the band and the brother of band frontman Justin Furstenfeld. He was asked to play drums for the band while they were practicing for their first show, which was days away.[1][2] In spite of only having limited drumming experience, he quickly learned the group's music and completed the band's lineup. Justin Furstenfeld wrote the song For My Brother for Jeremy, and the song Overweight contains the lyrics "I wanna let my brother know he saved my life a thousand times, throughout the years he's been the friend who's always there." In interviews Justin has referred to Jeremy as his anchor while the band is on tour.

Jeremy lives in San Marcos, Texas with his wife Meredith.
