Jeremy Davies (exorcist)

Father Jeremy Davies (born 1935) an English Roman Catholic Parish Priest of Old Hall Green, is a former doctor and is also a leading exorcist.

He studied English Literature at St Edmund Hall, Oxford and studied Medicine at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He graduated with a medical degree in 1967, then worked in Mission Hospitals in Guyana, Nigeria and Ghana. He was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1974.

Father Davies was appointed exorcist of the Westminster Archdiocese, in Great Britain in 1986. He spent four months in Rome in apprenticeship and has been conducting exorcisms ever since.

In 1993 he co-founded, along with Father Gabriele Amorth and four others, the International Association of Exorcists which now has hundreds of members worldwide.
