Established in 2004, Thirty-Thousand.org conducts research on, and educates the public about, what it calls "the insidious degradation of representative democracy in the United States which results from Congress’s longstanding practice of constricting the size of the U. S. House of Representatives relative to the total population". Thirty-thousand.org believes that the number of federal Representatives in the U.S. House should be increased substantially in order to extend the ground of public confidence in our government and to best ensure the beneficent ends of its institution.
Thirty-Thousand.org is non-partisan and non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
