Jeong Jae-eun (정재은) was born in Seoul, South Korea in 1969. She is a screenwriter and film director, most noted for her debut feature film Take Care of My Cat, a story that follows the lives of a group of 5 girls moving on into the world in their own directions after graduating school.

Jeong attended and was one of the first graduates of the School of Film and Multimedia at the Korean National University of Arts.
