[edit] Jennifer Emily
Born in 1979, Jenny popped into this World at the very end of the decade of bad fashion and is rather peturbed to see that fashion at the moment is the crap we thought we had said good bye to then. She now looks fashionable in very old photographs - that will never do.
[edit] Likes
Blancmange, preferably pink. Underwear (generally her own), basques (underwear again) Corsets (we're seeing a theme here) and anything to do with curry. Her favourite colour is green, and she prefers skirts to trousers.
[edit] Achievements
Jenny is the Author of five books:
- Syndicate Dawn (2008) ISBN 9780954245542
- Countdown to Extinction (2006)ISBN 9780954245512
- Orb of Arawaan (2006) ISBN 9780954245539
- Daytrippers (2006) ISBN 9780954245520
- Homo Superior (2002) ISBN 9780954245504
Three of these are science fiction dealing with as part of sub-plot issues of gender identity and transsexuality (Homo Superior, Countdown to Extinction and Syndicate Dawn) whilst the other two are fantasy fiction in a steampunk style, and comedy.
Jenny has undertaken work in broadcasting for a number of years, and currently works freelance for the BBC at BBC Radio Newcastle and BBC Radio Cleveland. She is also a co-founder and co-administrator for T-VOX, as well as being heavily involved in a number of other LGBT support groups.
[edit] Ambitions
Having managed to scratch off respectively working as a Radio Presenter and being a published Author from her lifetime to-do list, she is currently working to expand on the support work which she does. She is looking to release a number of further books, including a book on transsexuality and transition.
