Jens Adler

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Jens Adler (born April 25, 1965) is a former German footballer. He was one of the last players to play for the German team pre-unification, and, as the final substitute made in the last match before unification took place, is considered to be the last player ever to play for the German Democratic Republic.

He moved in 1995 to Hertha Berlin but played very little, only finding himself playing in a single senior game, before transferring to KFC Uerdingen 05 during their relegation into the second tier.

He retired from football in 2001 and since then has not been able to find employment as a coach.
