Jenny Wood-Allen

Jenny Wood-Allen (b. 1911) from Dundee, Scotland, was 87 years old when she completed the 1999 London Marathon with a time of 7 hrs 14 min. 46 sec., earning her the current Guinness World Record for Oldest Female Marathon Finisher. Since she's run in 2001 too, then walked the London Marathon in 2002, received an MBE in the 2006 New Year Honours List, and took part in the 2006 Great Scottish Walk.
