[edit] Accident in 2008

On February 9, 2008, Jenny Pat fell from the third floor of her apartment building onto the courtyard of the second floor suffering moderate injuries. Newspapers report that "this incident happened due to Jenny Pat's sudden onset of claustrophobia." These newspaper reports are yet to be confirmed by either Ms. Pat or her family members. Jenny climbed out the window of her 11th floor apartment. She attempted to scale down the side of the building via a drain pipe. When she reached the third floor, she lost footing and fell onto the second floor courtyard. She was rushed to the hospital in stable condition. Her mother, Fu, told press that this was not a suicide attempt, and that the allegations of Jenny suffering from clinical depression for almost a decade is false. "She is the happiest and most carefree ever since childhood. She is not a depressed person, but she does have panic attacks that induces claustrophobia at times of extreme stress," said Fu to the reporters. [1] [2] [3]
