Jenny Maxwell

Jenny Maxwell (September 3, 1941June 10, 1981) was an American film and television actress, probably best-remembered for her role in the 1961 Elvis Presley film Blue Hawaii.

She played spoiled Ellie Corbett whom Elvis eventually tames by spanking her on the beach. As well as Blue Hawaii she appeared in Blue Denim (1959), Shotgun Wedding (1963), and Take Her, She's Mine (also 1963, which starred James Stewart).

In addition to this she appeared in several television shows, including The Twilight Zone (1961) . In 1981, she and her husband, Irvin Roeder were gunned down outside their Beverly Hills condo during a robbery; she was 39 years old.
