Jenny Margareta Kallur (pronounced [ˈʝɛnːʏ ˈkalːɵr] in Swedish), born February 16, 1981, Long Island, New York, U.S., and a resident in Falun, County of Dalarna, is a Swedish 100m (60m for indoor) hurdler runner (her main event) and 60 (indoor), 100 and 200 metre sprinter. Her twin sister Susanna Kallur, whom she is four minutes older than, is also a 100m hurdler. They are daughters of former ice hockey player Anders Kallur who won 4 Stanley Cup championships with the New York Islanders.
Since she is born in U.S. she has dual citizenships.
She studied at and competed for University of Illinois.
She came 5th in the heats of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games.
She is coached by Agne Bergvall and Karin Torneklint.
Quick tip for telling her apart from her twin sister is that Jenny is normally the dark haired of the two.
Since 2005, she has reported Swedish tennis professional Joachim Johansson as her boyfriend.
