Jennifer Sciole (born April 28, 1979 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American actress.
[edit] Biography
Born in Philadelphia, Jennifer is the youngest of six children raised in an Italian blue collar family, with whom she is still close. She wanted to be an actress for as long as she can remember, appearing in school plays and giving improvised performances for family and friends whenever she could.
Jennifer's first acting job was at the age of fifteen, when she appeared in a local grocery store commercial. She recalls that, while it was just a local commercial, "I was a working actor, and that was a big moment in my life."
Influenced by actresses such as Vivien Leigh, Goldie Hawn and Kim Basinger, Jennifer continued learning the craft of acting throughout high school. She took a break from acting to attend St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia, where she majored in psychology, later switching to business management.
After college, Jennifer started a software company that was tremendously successful. With a successful business behind her, Jennifer returned to acting full time and moved to Los Angeles in 2005 where she worked as an extra to gain additional professional experience. While working as an extra, she continued learning her craft by studying with such noted acting coaches as Bernard Hiller, John Homa and Nathan Reid.
When not acting, Jennifer spends time with her three dogs, Austin, Brady, and Jasper and volunteers for Last Chance for Animals. Jennifer also enjoys dancing and studying martial arts. Jennifer is also an honorary board member and spokesperson for Hollywood Cure For Pain.
