[edit] Career

From a very early age, Jennifer showed an interest in dance, especially tap, and was enrolled by her parents at the Kathleen Johns Dance School near their home at the age of three. Jennifer continued to dance through primary school and often combined dancing with acting in school and local productions. Her first stage performance was in the local Guide County Show.

In 2002, after much persuasion, Jennifer's parents allowed her to attend the Centre Stage School of Performing Arts. It was with this school that Jennifer performed at the Millfield Theatre, a longtime dream of hers. Jennifer made her professional stage debut with the Millfield Theatre in A Game of Two Halves.

Only five months later Jennifer, made her big screen debut in British director Kenny Richards’ feature film Bad Blood. Less than a week after filming wrapped on Bad Blood, she was filming The Truth About Boarding Schools (2003) for Granada Television, marking her first television appearance.

In the years since, Jennifer has starred in the cutting edge road safety video What Happened Today...? with Tarik Edeoglu who also starred in BBC Soundbites (2004) with her, recorded a voice-over for the short film 8:30 at the Italian, and performed in several more plays.

Her latest performances were in Cuba at the Millfield Theatre in March, 2005 and playing 'Starveling' in A Midsummer Night's Dream. Jennifer was a member of the Millfield Youth Theatre and performed in Just with them in 2006.

In the summer of 2006 Jennifer played the lead role of Anna in the short film Anna's Way which was released on the 16th June 2007.

Jennifer's website recently added credits as Stage Manager, Sound Operator and Lighting Board Operator onto her on-line CV. It has also been announced that she is acting as Stage Manager for a theatre company at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2007.

In January 2008, Jennifer released a statement on her website telling fans that she was taking a break from professional acting (apart from the performances she had already agreed to) due to her degree studies. However, she did state that she would be returning to film and television as soon as possible. In letters to fans since she has only stated that she is attending a university in her hometown of London, England but does not comment on which one.
