Jennifer Alexander (1972December 2, 2007) was a Canadian-born ballet dancer.

She was born in Calgary, Alberta and studied at the Alberta Ballet School. Alexander went on to study at the school for the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, dancing with the company from 1991 to 1993. She married Julio Bragado-Young, also of the American Ballet Theatre, in July of this year.

Bragado-Young had been performing in The Nutcracker in Williamsport, Pennsylvania and the couple were returning to Manhattan from the performance when they were involved in a multiple vehicle collision on icy roads. Alexander died at the scene.

The American Ballet Theater has created a scholarship called The Jennifer Alexander Dancer, to acknowledge an outstanding corps de ballet dancer. Contributions to The Jennifer Alexander Memorial Fund can be made to: Ballet Theatre Foundation, 890 Broadway, 3rd Floor, New York, NY 10003. The first recipient is Marian Butler.
