Jenn Forbes is an Australian singer/songwriter.
She grew up in the Sydney suburb of Cremorne Point. When she was in her teens she began doing both voiceovers and vocals for television commercials, and singing in live bands. After leaving school she began to write songs.
Jenn's recording debut was on the soundtrack of Russle Crowe's first movie, "[[The Crossing (film) along with Crowded House, Bowie and the Proclaimers. Soon after, she was signed to Mushroom Records for which she put out two singles, "Dream On (Kathy's Song)" and "I'll Be There For You", an EP called "Baby Come Back" (the title song was a cover of the Player hit) and an album, "I, No Y".
In the late 90's she toured with Joe Cocker in Australia.
Jenn was quite successful as a songwriter when one of her songs, "I Want You", was recorded by fellow Mushroom artist Toni Pearen.
In Toni's hands the song became a smash hit and also earned her and Jenn a gold record.
