Jenifer is the fourth episode of the first season of Masters of Horror. It originally aired in North America on November 18, 2005. It was directed by Dario Argento. It is based on issue #63 of Creepy Comics.

Police officer Frank Spivey (Steven Weber) saves a disfigured young woman named Jenifer (Carrie Fleming) from being slaughtered by a crazed old man. The night of the event, he gains interest in her and rapes his wife, Ruby (Brenda James). He takes Jenifer into his home because she has nowhere else to go, but after a dream of a non-disfigured Jenifer seducing him, Jenifer's presence is revealed to his wife and his son Pete (Harris Allen). Soon, it becomes clear that there are problems with Jenifer that turn Frank's life upside-down, starting after she forces him to have sex. She frightens away Frank's wife and son, devours his cat, murders and eats his young neighbor Amy (Jasmine Chan) and slaughters a hit-man he hired to kill her. He is forced to move to a new location with her. At their new home in the woods, Frank gets a job at a small market, where Jenifer sees him with another woman, and gets revenge by devouring the woman's young son.

Frank attempts to end this and kill Jenifer, only for irony to strike as she is saved by a deer hunter, who kills Frank (Whose last words were Jenifer, like her previous killer) and thus Jenifer finds a new victim to seduce...

The film is adapted from a short story which appeared in Creepy #63 (July 1974), drawn by Bernie Wrightson and written by Bruce Jones.

Although ShowTime promised each director that they would not be censored, Jenifer had two scenes cut. One where Jenifer is fellating Frank and one where she is eating the penis of one of her victims. Both scenes can be viewed on the DVD as part of the featurette "So Hideous My Love: An Interview with Dario Argento".

Argento stated that Jenifer is an alien and there were to be scenes showing her alien vagina and how she preforms oral sex. However, there was no time to film these scenes.
