[edit] helpme

{{helpme}} I am trying to add pictures to some of the topics I started, but I don't know how to ask for permission. Can you please help me; how do I do it?

Are these pictures already uploaded to Wikipedia, what is their copyright status? JaakobouChalk Talk 14:59, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
No, I have not put these pictures on Wikipedia; in fact, I don't know the first thing about uploading! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jemmabond (talkcontribs)
Jemmabond,
  1. Please sign your comments with 4 tildas '~~~~'.
  2. There's no need to open a duplicate help request.
  3. Images can be uploaded by clicking on the "Upload file" link under the search bar (left side menu).
However, Wikipedia has some fairly strict rules regarding copyright and you should consult with Help:Contents/Images and media, in particular WP:IUP and WP:UPI.
I hope this helps. JaakobouChalk Talk 15:13, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
If it doesn't, reopen the helpme tag. JaakobouChalk Talk 22:11, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
