Jelena Veljača

Jelena Veljača (born April 23, 1981 in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, now Croatia) is a Croatian actress.
Veljača is best known in the role of "Maja Župan" in the Croatian telenovela Ljubav u zaleđu (Love in the Offside). She also appeared in the first Croatian telenovela ever Villa Maria. She has also written the script for the telenovela Obični ljudi (Ordinary people). In 2006 it was announced that she would be one of the writers on the upcoming Croatian edition of Survivor.
Veljača became the source of controversy in December 2006 when a sex tape appeared on the internet, allegedly showing Veljača performing oral sex on an unknown man. Veljača has denied that she is the woman in the video and claimed that it was produced by a blackmailer.[1]
