Jelena Ština (born 11 May 1986 in Riga) is a Latvian runner, competing in the 800 metres and 1500 metres.
The 2003 World Youth Championships in Athletics (held in Sherbrooke, Canada) was very lucky for Ština, as she had a silver medal in 1500 m distance clocking at 4:17.43. She would have been the first if she had run just 0.03 seconds faster. Her personal best—4:12.67—was achieved earlier that year in Latvia and that result would definitely have given her the first place.
Jelena ran 1500 m in the 2004 World Junior Championships in Athletics (held in Grosseto, Italy) where she placed ninth with a result 4:19.96.
