[edit] Sandbox
- The time has come for the Wikipedia community to say "Enough! We will not tolerate parties importing their conflicts into Wikipedia."
I propose a community ban upon all of the following editors, per the evidence at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Mantanmoreland/Evidence:
- User:PatrickByrne
- Judd Bagley/User:WordBomb (already banned, but listing for completeness)
- User:Mantanmoreland
- User:Samiharris
- Gary Weiss
and any sock puppet or meat puppet accounts they may use. None of these users have added content to Wikipedia nearly worth the cost of disruption wrought by their conflict. The Arbitration Committee has attempted to resolve things, but I think the Committee fails to understand the community's extreme displeasure with this never-ending conflict. Rather than continuing the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Requests for arbitration/Mantanmoreland/Proposed decision, I think it would be much better to ban the combatants without further delay. There is no benefit whatsoever in allowing these folks to continue editing and disrupting Wikipedia. Jehochman Talk 15:17, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Note: Administrators who are involved in the conflict are welcome to participate in the discussion, but their votes will not prevent the formation of a consensus to ban. Jehochman Talk 15:17, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
