My personal standards for dispute resolution and accountability are designed to be as simple as possible while minimizing drama.
[edit] Editorial disputes
If you have concerns about my work as an editor, please see talk to me, and if that does not provide satisfaction, choose an appropriate method of dispute resolution.
[edit] Administrative disputes
For concerns about specific administrative actions:
- Talk to me.
- Start a community discussion at the administrators' noticeboard.
If you have concerns about my work as an administrator in general, I suggest the following steps:
- Talk to me.
- Explain your concerns to one or two respected members of the community[1] and ask them to talk to me.
- If the above steps fail to address your concerns, you may file a request for comment on use of administrator privileges.
If this process ever shows that I have lost the trust of the community, I will step down. This is a voluntary process, therefore I will rely on common sense, rather than any specific set of rules to make that determination.
